What:  Interactive Classroom technology – our product combines the technololgy associated with interactive computing in a classroom setting.  Through groups of transparent computer screens conected through hardware, students are capable of sharing information with a drag of the mouse.  In addition one is able to grab what a neighbor is looking at with another mouse move.  The groups are networked together along with the teachers computer to allow for quick sharing of relvant information with the class.
Why: Exchange of information within current group collaboration(ie. research or other situations) is confined to the speed of a network or the transfer of an email.  We want to take advantage of current technology to provide for a more social and interactive computing experience within teh classroom environment.
How: Prototyping will be done before interveiws will be performed.  Observations of current classrooms that are trying to be interactive and groups that are trying to share information between eachother will help us to refine our ideas and the specifics of the product. After observations, interveiws with the subjects will allow us to get feedback on whether of not our product would be helpful in their works, and whether it will lead the interactive experience we are looking for.
